7 Greatest Mistakes Trainers Make - And How to Avoid Them

Sometimes little things can make the big difference. Not knowing knowable information, making a mistake and trying to cover it up -- are all things trainers have done -- and paid a price for. In this fast-paced, interactive session Bob will cover the top 7 he's seen (and unfortunately done!) in his career -- but more importantly -- how to avoid them.

The legendary Bob Pike will be sharing lessons he's learned over decades of training thousands of trainers all over the world. You won't want to miss this!

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

Have you joined any of our SIGs? If not, find the one that fits your role best! Each week, we're taking time to focus on a specific area of the talent development field. Join with other like-minded professionals to share ideas, discuss hot topics, and network. Free to Chapter Members!

Featured Board Member, Brittney Helt, Director of Marketing & Communications

Brittney Helt joined the ATD VOS Board of Directors in January 2020, as the marketing and communication efforts. She shamelessly asks you to follow us on Facebook & LinkedIn! As a new Arizona resident, Brittney was looking for her tribe, so true to her personality, she not only joined the chapter, she volunteered for a role on the board.

Her 'day job' is the Director of Customer Success at TTI Success Insights, where she is powered by her interactions with others. She is proud to utilize her 10+ years of experience as one of their customers to help ensure each of their partners thrives and works to build strategies that produce results with the most important aspect of any organization, their people.

Brittney got her start with the ATD Central Indiana in 2012 where she led the chapter's event team, created a successful Learning Summit annual conference, and led the chapter's communications. Brittney's favorite memory with ATD is getting to meet Simon Sinek after his keynote at ATD ICE in Denver (ask her for the photo evidence)!

Fun Fact! Brittney is one of those people with no fear (sometimes referred to as an adrenaline junkie) and is always looking for her next adventure!
