Role: Director, Community Relations
Main role responsibilities
- ATDVOS' main liaison for other community organizations including
- Corporations - build our relationship with partner organizations to find/list jobs for our members, find volunteers, setup partnership programs, provide sponsorship opportunities
- Academia - build our relationship with schools to promote the profession to students and see other partnership opportunities
- Non-profits - partner with organizations to share our field of expertise and to find other partnership opportunities
- Professional Organizations - partner with organizations to share our field of expertise and to find other partnership opportunities
- Lead ATDVOS outreach events like Employee Education Week and others
Responsibilities as Board Member
- 2 year role
- As a leader in the Chapter, attend 2/3 of Chapter events
- Attend at least 8 of 10 board meetings annually -- most board meetings are virtual
- Recruit and train replacement
- Required: Member of both national ATD and local chapter
Key Collaborators
You'll work with especially with the Director, Professional Development on partnerships and sponsorships related to programming. You'll also work with the Director, Volunteers to help recruit volunteers where the community organizations are sources. You'll promote and work with the Director, Marketing & Communications to get the word out.

This role will be likely more busy in the spring and fall and around ATDVOS events.
